Ruthvik Yaparla

Ruthvik Yaparla is a rising Junior passionate about healthcare. He aspires to combine his leadership and scientific research skills to impact his community through service projects and health advocacy. Ruthvik has achieved recognition from several organizations including the Boy Scouts of America and SEWA International. Through diverse experiences, he has developed a community-oriented mindset demonstrating his passion for helping others. He also has a strong scientific background evidenced by his Systemic Review, which is in the works of publication. Furthermore, he has received awards in competitions like the American Regional Biology Competition. In his free time, Ruthvik writes about scientific content in blog posts, watches and reviews movies, and plays football and basketball.

Ariella is a junior at James Madison High School in Brooklyn, New York interested in pursuing neurology. With a passion in scientific research, she spends much of her time engaging in public health, and is currently conducting research. She is a member of her school's Science Olympiad team and Medical house. In her free time, Ariella enjoys reading and dabbling in art, as well as watching documentaries.

Feiyang Zhang is currently a rising senior at Midwood High School in Brooklyn, New York. She has a strong interest in immunology, microbiology, and surgical science. She has a strong passion for research, and advocating healthcare accessibility and education literacy in underserved communities. She has been involved in various projects, including the HEART project, which aims to improve health literacy in developing countries such as Kenya, while also participating in lab work on stem cell studies.

Hi! I’m Prisha and I’m a rising sophomore at Woodbridge Academy Magnet School in New Jersey. My interests lie in medicine, more specifically, obstetrics, and biology in general. Some things I like to do in my free time are reading, playing the piano, and spending time with my one year old puppy! I am also a fourth degree black belt in Taekwondo, and enjoy pursuing this as a side passion.

Olivia is a junior at Mountain View High School interested in immunology and public health. She spends a great amount of time dancing at her ballet studio, performing in shows and competitions. She is also involved in her school’s Science Olympiad team, in her local scouting troop and teaches STEMsubjects to kids. Outside of this, she loves to sew, bake and watch tv with friends.

Vid Yash is a rising 10th grader at American Heritage School Broward in South Florida, excelling in academics and extracurricular activities. With an interest in science research, she has participated in prestigious programs like the MIT FutureMakers Create-a-Thon, IYRC Medicine and Research Program at Columbia University, and the Global Health Leaders Conference at Johns Hopkins Universty. Vid is a dedicated member of her school’s Mu Alpha Theta, Science Olympiad, and Sigma Xi chapters, as well as being the former co-president of National Junior Honor Society, showcasing her commitment to excellence and leadership. Her achievements include winning awards in medical science and science competitions, reflecting her passion for learning and innovation. In her free time, she clears her head by blasting her favorite Taylor Swift songs on her saxophone.
